Galaxies

I needed a small painting project. I started placing tiny objects (dried flowers, fake jewelry, candies) in an open scanner and the result was that of floating elements, resembling how I imagine objects in outer space must look like. The last painting I made was far more ambitious, though. I couldn't place the marbles over the scanner, so I made a puzzle with several photographs I took of them over a black cloth. I spent almost a year painting that one.
